Winfield Public Safety Facility

Project Profile

Historic buildings are always a rewarding challenge, and this 1886 fire station is no exception.
The existing floorplan underwent a thoughtful reconfiguration to optimize space utilization
while honoring the building’s heritage. We renovated the first-floor dining hall, kitchen, day
room, conference room, and lobby, plus created functional office spaces. Upstairs, modernized
firefighter quarters, bathrooms, and storage areas complement a cozy lounge and study area.
This renovation blends history with contemporary functionality, ensuring the fire station
remains a vital cornerstone of its community for years to come.
